Principal Software Developer in Test (SDET)

About the role

This position is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of Integrant’s software products. It bridges development and quality assurance, combining manual and automated testing while contributing to test strategy and code testability.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements and system designs, then create and prioritize test cases and scripts.
• Execute functional, UI, API, integration and performance tests using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, Cucumber and SpecFlow.
• Log defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and track issues to closure.
• Collaborate with Scrum team members, provide regular defect status updates, and produce comprehensive test reports.
• Enhance code testability, fix minor defects, and implement test support features.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on software testing experience, preferably in a senior or principal role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and ability to work in an agile, self‑organizing team.

Required skills

• Java, C#, JavaScript, SQL.
• Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, SpecFlow, Cucumber (BDD).
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Performance testing, cloud ETL, DevOps concepts, data structures and test planning/strategy design.
