Procurement Specialist (Cosmeceuticals)

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials for our cosmeceutical product line. The role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Source and assess new suppliers for all required materials and items.
• Review purchase requests from the Planning Department, considering lead times, quantities, delivery dates, and inventory levels.
• Convert approved requests into purchase orders in line with defined KPIs.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to meet or improve benchmark costs.
• Issue purchase orders with approved quantities, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Follow up with suppliers to guarantee accurate and on‑time deliveries.
• Coordinate with the Budget Control Department to verify purchasing budgets and approvals.
• Act as an on‑ground buyer for urgent or ad‑hoc procurement needs.
• Manage procurement of loyalty and promotional items.
• Liaise directly with local suppliers and handle cash advances for approved purchases when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in a buyer or procurement role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end purchasing cycle, supplier sourcing, and cost negotiation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
