Procurement Specialist – Telecommunications Technology

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will manage the full procurement cycle for technology‑related projects within a telecommunications environment, ensuring compliance with business cases, budgets, and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement from requisition to purchase order issuance, delivery, invoice verification and journal entry.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and monitor performance of suppliers and vendors.
• Maintain procurement databases, including RTPs, POs, contracts, JCRs and vendor records.
• Support budget monitoring, cost optimisation and quality standards.
• Coordinate contract management, including negotiations, renewals, compliance and performance tracking.
• Prepare procurement reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical or Software Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement experience in a technology or telecommunications company.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems; procurement certification (CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
