Product Sales Specialist - AC (Electrical Automation)

About the role

Hitachi Energy Technology is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer for Electrical Automation in New Cairo. You will promote and sell products and automation solutions that improve the reliability, efficiency and sustainability of power distribution networks, combining technical expertise with commercial skills to serve utilities, industrial customers and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Sell the Electrical Automation and Communication portfolio, including Distribution Automation, protection relays, RTUs and communication products
• Develop and run account strategies to meet sales targets and grow market share in the assigned territory
• Identify new business and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
• Work with R&D, product management and service to tailor offerings to customer needs
• Support pre-sales and post-sales with technical advice, solution design and technical presentations
• Ensure compliance with standards such as IEC 61850 and DNP3
• Build long-term relationships with utilities, industries and channel partners and act as a trusted advisor
• Monitor market trends and competitors, represent the company at events and give product teams feedback on customer needs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation or a related field
• 5-7 years of technical sales experience in electrical automation and communication
• Experience with OEMs, panel builders, distributors and system integrators
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the energy sector

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of transmission/distribution automation, protection and control, and communication protocols
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Preferred: familiarity with protection relays, RTUs and communication products, utility procurement processes, and CRM software
