Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer ensures that manufacturing lines operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely while meeting quality standards. Working closely with supervisors, maintenance teams, and planning departments, the role coordinates daily workflows, material requests, and technical support to keep production on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Receive monthly production plans and translate them into detailed workflow schedules.
• Interpret shop drawings and lead manufacturing processes with supervisors.
• Implement weekly machine loading plans and approved designs to start production.
• Request required materials from inventory based on job specifications.
• Monitor production execution according to established processes and workflow.
• Track quality standards, address observations from the quality team, and ensure compliance.
• Prepare daily production reports for manager approval and forward to planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams.
• Align progress with projects, planning, and quality teams.
• Provide technical assistance to supervisors and technicians as needed.
• Verify machine safety checklists and enforce safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate production logs in line with the management system.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in an industrial production environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
