Production Engineer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to join our team in Bourj Alarab, Alexandria. The role involves operating and monitoring chemical production lines, ensuring safe, efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production lines, machinery and equipment to maintain continuous operations.
• Track critical process parameters such as temperature and pressure and apply corrective actions when needed.
• Supervise chemical addition to reactors following standard operating procedures, ensuring safe handling and preventing leaks.
• Verify raw material availability and quantities to sustain production flow.
• Collect reactor samples at various stages and coordinate with the Quality Control team to meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with R&D to support production trials and process improvements.
• Organize shift activities, coordinating the team to achieve production targets.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment regulations and company quality policies.
• Prepare production reports, report operational issues and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the solvents industry is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
