Production Scheduler

About the role

GSK is looking for a Production Scheduler to develop and maintain production and materials schedules that balance customer demand, capacity, resource availability and inventory, ensuring reliable product supply and efficient production execution. The position is fully on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Generate the 13-week Master Production Schedule (MPS) on a weekly basis.
• Manage stream order fulfilment and shop order flow to deliver excellent customer service.
• Run rough-cut capacity plans (RCCP) and capacity resource plans to validate the production plan from a capacity standpoint.
• Monitor daily execution and control of production operations, including work centre loading, pipeline flow, shop order release and sequencing, and WIP level control.
• Run MRP to extract material plans and inbound material volume forecasts.
• Handle exception messages weekly and roll out a 3-month materials availability report with shortages monthly.
• Maintain data, clean up obsolete items and update planning parameters.
• Support inbound logistics CIF and improvement, and manage and report materials and finished goods inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, planning, logistics or equivalent, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent Arabic is required; good spoken and written English.
• Experience with SAP / MRP is an advantage.
