Production Senior Supervisor

About the role

The Production Senior Supervisor will lead short‑ and long‑term manufacturing activities, ensuring that production commitments are met on time and to quality standards. This role involves planning, resource allocation, and rapid problem‑solving to keep the plant operating efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Develop monthly and annual production plans, monitor performance, and report on results.
• Communicate action plans to teams, aligning local goals with overall company strategy.
• Identify process shortcomings and propose improvements under senior guidance.
• Support quality‑assurance initiatives and continuous operational improvements.
• Create short‑ and medium‑term work schedules, approve overtime, and allocate additional resources as needed.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, adjust work plans, and maintain continuity of operations.
• Coordinate plant projects with engineering and other internal departments.
• Manage training and development to boost individual and organizational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and drive operational‑excellence initiatives.
