Project Director – Construction

About the role

Construction Management Systems S.A.E (CMS) is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead construction projects in Cairo. The role is full‑time and on‑site, responsible for delivering projects from inception through completion while meeting time, budget and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple construction projects across civil, architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Develop and coordinate project schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, allocate resources and monitor performance.
• Maintain continuous liaison with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ISO and OSHAS standards.
• Control project budgets, track costs and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Resolve technical and operational challenges promptly.
• Promote a collaborative work environment and align project outcomes with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in project management, strategic planning and team coordination.
• Technical expertise in civil, architectural and MEP project oversight.
• Experience with scheduling tools, project tracking systems and budgeting.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with construction safety, ISO and OSHAS standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Track record of managing multi‑project portfolios in corporate, industrial, healthcare and residential sectors.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an asset.
