Project Engineer – Structure

About the role

NAGANAGA is seeking a Project Engineer – Structure to join its office‑based design team. The role focuses on structural engineering, analysis, calculations and technical coordination across a variety of building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs, calculations, analysis and technical reports for diverse building types.
• Develop concrete and steel structural schemes that meet project requirements and relevant codes.
• Produce and review design calculations, design notes, reports and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, BIM and project teams to resolve design issues and ensure smooth delivery.
• Support the preparation of tender, concept, schematic, detailed design and IFC stage deliverables.
• Review shop drawings and design submissions from a structural engineering perspective.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, international codes and project specifications.
• Identify design risks, clashes and technical issues early and propose practical engineering solutions.
• Assist senior engineers in design reviews, project coordination and client or consultant comment resolution.
• Contribute to value engineering and optimisation of structural systems without compromising safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in structural design or consultancy within a design office environment.
• Strong experience in structural analysis, design calculations and technical detailing.
• Good knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design.
• Experience on residential, commercial, mixed‑use, hospitality or high‑rise building projects is preferred.
