Project Finance Analyst

About the role

ABB is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to support the financial and commercial aspects of its industrial projects in Egypt. You will work closely with project teams to drive performance, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with corporate finance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project invoices, accounting entries, and financial reporting documents, including site accounting.
• Drive revenue and cash‑flow performance for assigned projects while identifying optimisation opportunities.
• Monitor currency risk in project cash flow and propose mitigation measures.
• Support project reviews, cost reporting, claim management, back‑charges and insurance case preparation.
• Assist the project team in risk identification and ensure adherence to ABB’s governance, internal controls and finance directives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related business field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Finance & Controlling, preferably within an industrial environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
• Eligibility to work at the 10th of Ramadan City factory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analysis.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
