Project Finance Specialist – HVAC Projects

About the role

Under the supervision of the CFO, the Project Finance Specialist will plan and execute new projects, handling financial feasibility, forecasting, budgeting, compliance and related tasks for Badr And Asfour and its sister companies in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial feasibility studies, prepare business plans, financial forecasts, funding strategies and investment analyses.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather technical and non‑technical requirements and ensure feasibility aligns with them.
• Coordinate financing arrangements with investment banks, project lenders and advisors.
• Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project timelines, monitor milestones and guarantee timely delivery of deliverables.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, manage risks and support cash‑flow objectives.
• Establish internal controls and project governance structures.
• Report financial and non‑financial progress to senior management, analyse variances and recommend improvements.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews to assess financial success of projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Financial modelling.
• AI tools for finance.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Understanding of Egyptian finance laws and regulations.
