Project Manager (Build Egypt)

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Project Manager for Build Egypt, based in Cairo. The role leads and coordinates complex construction projects from inception to completion, working closely with the Project Management Team (PMT) to deliver objectives within the agreed time frame and budget. It calls for strategic execution, proactive problem-solving and strong leadership, with attention to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the PMT and oversee site activities so that objectives are met within the agreed timeline and budget.
• Carry out projects in line with the approved strategy, in close contact with the Project Director and central department heads.
• Monitor and review project KPIs, make tactical decisions on resource allocation and manage staffing needs.
• Manage changes to the engineering scope and obtain written client approval for all variations before they are implemented.
• Prepare corrective action reports for delays or budget overruns and propose recovery plans under the guidance of the Project Director.
• Develop and present monthly summary reports and other updates to the Project Director.
• Give technical advice and resolve issues together with discipline managers on site, and work with Construction Managers to direct and supervise resources.
• Ensure PMT departments have adequate resources to meet productivity targets and comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee project closeout, including submitting final documentation to the client when the Project Director is unavailable, and maintain the highest safety standards throughout.
• Keep up to date with drawings, specifications, BOQ and contract conditions, and support the HSE management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil or Architecture Engineering from a reputable university.
• At least 10 years of experience in construction; large-scale projects, and high-end residential and hospitality projects, are preferred.
• Proven leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, and sound judgment.
• Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Creative thinker and excellent organizer.
• Good English proficiency.
• Project Management Professional certification is a plus.
