Project Manager – Energy Solutions

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a motivated Project Manager to lead innovative energy projects from concept to delivery. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, define objectives, and develop detailed plans to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve milestones and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans in partnership with Project Controls, covering scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
• Manage execution while ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policies, contractual agreements, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor financial performance, including invoicing, expenses, and cash flow, and address risks and opportunities.
• Oversee procurement processes and serve as the primary customer contact for issue resolution.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience managing medium‑sized projects, including commercial and contractual responsibilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• PMP certification is mandatory.
