QC Analyst

About the role

The Quality Control Analyst ensures that raw materials, in‑process items and finished goods meet IFF’s stringent quality, food safety and regulatory standards. Working in the 6th of October City laboratory, you will support the Quality Management System through routine and non‑routine testing, data evaluation and continuous process monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chemical and analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates and final products (moisture, salt content, refractive index, density, acidity, etc.).
• Conduct microbiological analyses such as Total Plate Count, Yeast & Mold, Coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus using approved methods.
• Prepare media, reagents and laboratory solutions required for testing activities.
• Execute sensory evaluations to verify product specifications.
• Carry out inspections, sampling and verification throughout manufacturing in line with SOPs.
• Document results, evaluate data trends and support corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a food‑oriented quality control laboratory.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and GMP quality systems.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and follow documented procedures.
