Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Quality Control Engineer will ensure that all food products meet the highest quality and safety standards throughout the production process. You will work closely with production teams to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform inspections on raw materials, in‑process, and finished products.
• Identify defects and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve quality performance.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP food safety system.
• Familiarity with GMP standards.
• Understanding of ISO 22000 requirements.
• Experience with laboratory testing.
• Experience with quality inspection procedures.
