Quality Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a motivated Quality Manager to lead the implementation of quality strategies, standards, and practices within its factory. You will ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements while adapting global methodologies to local conditions and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee adherence to HSE regulations across all quality activities.
• Execute business unit, product line, and hub quality strategies.
• Define and implement the factory Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
• Lead and coordinate Quality Management System, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and testing processes.
• Ensure resources and training are in place for effective quality management.
• Capture and analyse customer feedback and internal quality issues.
• Promote compliance awareness throughout the factory.
• Monitor and analyse quality system performance data.
• Coordinate internal and external quality audits.
• Drive corrective actions, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate quality performance insights to stakeholders and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and implement Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
• Excellent data‑analysis and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
