Quality MEP Team Leader

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Quality MEP Team Leader in Cairo to lead and supervise the site quality control team. The role implements and maintains the quality management system across all construction activities, ensuring works meet project specifications, industry standards and client requirements, and promotes a proactive quality culture on site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quality control team in daily inspection and testing across civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Review and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and quality procedures.
• Supervise quality documentation such as checklists, test reports and NCRs.
• Ensure materials, workmanship and construction activities comply with approved drawings and standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Run regular audits and site walkthroughs, and track corrective and preventive actions and NCR closures.
• Support project handover by ensuring quality dossiers are complete.
• Mentor site QC inspectors and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of quality control experience in construction.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and construction quality management systems.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Quality certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor or CQE are an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Use of quality tracking systems.
