Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction projects, overseeing quantity take‑offs, cost control and procurement activities. The role involves close collaboration with design, site and procurement teams to ensure accurate budgeting and efficient material management.

Key responsibilities

• Review project documents and prepare quantity take‑offs for Tender, IFC, SD and As‑Built drawings.
• Track and monitor electrical quantities throughout project execution and prepare comparison sheets highlighting variances.
• Develop and maintain a detailed Bill of Materials for procurement and manage variation orders with full documentation.
• Analyse tender documents, advise on procurement and commercial strategies, and approve material and subcontractor requests.
• Ensure compliance with project budgets, assign cost codes, manage claims, variations and disputes, and update financial forecasts.
• Prepare cost reports, variance analyses and risk assessments, providing commercial support to project managers and design teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management on construction projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills with attention to detail.
