Record to Report (R2R) Supervisor

About the role

The Record to Report (R2R) Supervisor leads the end‑to‑end financial closing process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting. You will oversee the General Ledger, manage month‑, quarter‑, and year‑end activities, and drive continuous improvements across the accounting function.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual financial close cycles and meet reporting deadlines.
• Review and approve journal entries, balance‑sheet, bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation and disposals.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, company policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
• Coach, develop and manage the R2R team, ensuring effective workload distribution.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Treasury, Payroll, Tax and FP&A to resolve reporting issues.
• Support SAP ERP enhancements and finance transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
• 6‑8 years of accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Record to Report processes, General Ledger accounting and IFRS.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
