About the role
Join Boston Scientific as a Regulatory Affairs Intern supporting product registration and compliance activities across Egypt and the wider North Africa region. You will work closely with the Regulatory Affairs team, distributors, and competent authorities to ensure medical devices meet local regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and submitting product registration dossiers and notifications in accordance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with distributors, authorized representatives, and competent authorities to track registration status and facilitate product releases.
- Support product release processes by collaborating with supply‑chain and customer‑service teams to verify legal status and source lists.
- Review promotional and advertising materials for regulatory compliance in Egypt.
- Assess change notifications, determine required submissions for device modifications, and communicate updates to manufacturers.
- Maintain organized records of approvals, dossiers, and related documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
- Fluent English; French is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑changing environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
