Remittance & E‑Finance Services Team Leader / Manager

About the role

The Remittance & E‑Finance Services Team Leader/Manager will coordinate a small team to ensure accurate and timely processing of all payment transactions, both local and foreign. Reporting to the Head of the unit, the role combines operational oversight, staff development, and compliance monitoring within a banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and authorize all incoming and outgoing payments (Swift, ACH, RTGS) in local and foreign currencies.
• Monitor and reconcile payment suspense accounts and standing orders.
• Authorize ADIB remit, e‑finance, and non‑trade FX transactions.
• Ensure swift free‑format messages are correctly released and investigated.
• Oversee UAT testing for new payment applications and validate results.
• Coordinate with local and foreign correspondent banks and respond to inquiries and complaints.
• Prepare analytical and regulatory reports, including end‑of‑day GL reconciliations.
• Lead a small team, provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with RCSA standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of bank functions, payment processing, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
