Remote Junior Lighting Designer

About the role

Ideolux, a leading LED lighting company, is seeking a creative and technically skilled Junior Lighting Designer to work remotely. You will develop lighting concepts, produce technical layouts, and support project teams in delivering high‑quality lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lighting design drawings, layouts, and schematics using Dialux Evo, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Create 2D/3D visualisations and presentation material for client review.
• Perform photometric calculations to ensure designs meet project specifications.
• Select appropriate luminaires based on technical and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with lighting standards and keep project documentation up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in lighting design or related drafting work.
• Strong understanding of lighting principles, photometrics, and efficiency standards.
• Ability to work independently within UAE working hours (Monday‑Friday 9:00‑18:30, Saturday 9:30‑12:30).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Dialux Evo.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using presentation tools for visual communication.
