Remote Web Developer – Cairo

About the role

We are looking for a remote Web Developer based in Cairo to design, develop and maintain our company websites and web applications. The role supports Dokkan Auto Group’s digital presence, enhancing customer experience and service efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement user‑friendly, responsive web interfaces.
• Develop and integrate back‑end services, databases and APIs.
• Maintain and update website content in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Optimize performance, ensure accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Monitor site analytics, troubleshoot issues and propose improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, version control and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with CMS platforms, e‑commerce integrations or automotive/service industry websites is a plus.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Responsive design frameworks.
• Server‑side programming languages, databases and API development.
• Understanding of web application architecture.
• Git version control, code reviews and documentation.
• Website performance optimization, accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility.
• CMS platforms and e‑commerce integration experience.
