Restaurant Hostess (Egyptian Only)

About the role

The Restaurant Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests at our Cairo hotel restaurant, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless service throughout their visit. This role requires a professional appearance, thorough knowledge of the menu and hotel services, and the ability to promote additional offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly while adhering to the hotel’s dress code and grooming standards.
• Provide courteous, efficient service and handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all food and beverage items, including the ability to upsell and suggest alternatives.
• Operate the POS system accurately for order entry and payment processing.
• Monitor and control inventory, reduce waste, and support opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure the dining area and surrounding spaces remain clean, organized, and compliant with HACCP, fire safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with the service team, attend training sessions, and contribute to staff meetings.
