Restaurant Hostess (Egyptian Only)

About the role

The Hotel’s Food & Beverage outlet is looking for a courteous and professional Restaurant Hostess to welcome guests, manage reservations and support the dining team. The role is based on‑site in Safaga and requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction and adherence to Kempinski standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage the reservation book and maintain an up‑to‑date guest history.
• Handle opening and closing procedures, ensuring the dining area is clean, organized and ready for service.
• Assist guests with inquiries, report complaints promptly and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Promote menu items, upsell where appropriate and provide detailed product knowledge.
• Operate the POS system accurately according to training.
• Monitor supplies, reduce waste and support inventory checks.
• Maintain personal grooming standards and wear the correct uniform at all times.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team and attend all scheduled trainings and meetings.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar hostess or front‑of‑house role, preferably in an international luxury hotel.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and a positive attitude.
