Retail Architect Lead

About the role

Great retail spaces bring a brand to life, create memorable customer experiences and turn expansion plans into physical reality. Korea Town is seeking an experienced Retail Architect Lead to own the planning, design, technical development and delivery of retail architecture and fit‑out projects. This senior, hands‑on role spans concept development, budgeting, contractor management and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead retail architecture projects from concept through completion, ensuring consistent brand experience and compliance with commercial, operational and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and evolve store concepts, architectural guidelines, design standards and new retail formats.
• Review and approve layouts, 3D concepts, material selections, architectural drawings and technical packages.
• Manage project budgets, CAPEX, cost assessments, rate cards and change requests.
• Oversee consultants, vendors, contractors, tender processes, negotiations and contractor selection.
• Monitor construction quality, regulatory compliance, contractor performance and design consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in retail architecture, commercial fit‑out or architectural project management.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding, including CAPEX, budgeting and cost control.
• Proven ability to manage multiple retail projects, balancing quality, timelines and budgets.
• Professional fluency in English.
