Room Attendant / Public Area Attendant

About the role

As a Guest Environment Expert you will play a key part in creating a memorable stay for our guests by ensuring rooms and public areas are spotless, well‑stocked and welcoming. This full‑time position is based at our Sheraton hotel in Cairo and offers the chance to work within a global hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and turn guest rooms, making beds, replenishing amenities and ensuring high standards of hygiene.
• Maintain the appearance of public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, elevators and restrooms.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and deliver items to rooms as needed.
• Stock and organize housekeeping carts and supply rooms.
• Follow safety, quality and company policies, including confidentiality and uniform standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Physical capacity to lift and move items up to 50 lb.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Reliability, punctuality and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to follow company policies and maintain guest confidentiality.
