Sales and Marketing Engineer - Energy Sector

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY S.A.E. is looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Sales and Marketing Engineer in Cairo to expand its presence in the Utility and Energy T&D market. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen, working alongside global experts to deploy advanced energy solutions. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and position Hitachi Energy as a trusted partner.
• Identify, develop and manage an opportunity pipeline in Salesforce to support sales targets.
• Partner with Account Managers to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Ensure compliance with requirements and uphold the company's commitment to safety and integrity.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales, technical and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Drive account growth, increase market penetration and contribute to revenue growth.
• Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through value-added solutions and excellent service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in sales, business development or account management in the energy or power industry.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Ability to build customer relationships, spot business opportunities and work across teams.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is an advantage.
