Sales & Business Development Engineer (MEP)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Business Development Engineer to drive new MEP business opportunities for our client in New Cairo. The role combines market prospecting, client relationship management and technical coordination to expand our presence in the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously identify and qualify new MEP projects, collecting and classifying client data by sector and opportunity type.
• Arrange and attend client meetings, presenting company services professionally while adhering to pricing policies.
• Obtain real RFQs, receive drawings, BOQs and specifications, and forward them to management after confirming scope clarity.
• Evaluate each opportunity for client seriousness, document completeness, payment terms and fit with company capabilities before pricing.
• Maintain the sales pipeline, update status regularly and produce periodic reports on clients, meetings, and next actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in the MEP and construction industry, handling projects, consultants, contractors and clients.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to spot new business opportunities and build long‑term client relationships.
• Own a car and a valid driving licence.
• Good command of English and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
