Sales Engineer – Expansion Joints & Hospital Solutions

About the role

SHOLEX Trade is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to drive growth in the architectural and construction sector, focusing on expansion joints and hospital solutions. You will develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key project stakeholders, and deliver the right product solutions for each project.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers, projects, and business opportunities within the architectural and construction sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, owners, architects, and other decision‑makers.
• Promote company products based on customer and project requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Manage the sales cycle from early project stages through material selection, quotation, approval, and order placement.
• Coordinate with the internal technical team for product clarification and technical support.
• Provide technical data sheets, catalogues, certificates, approvals, samples, and other documentation to customers.
• Follow up on product submissions, approvals, and quotations until the sale is closed.
• Conduct regular site visits, report opportunities, and monitor market activities, competitors, and pricing.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and support overall company growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales within the construction sector.
• Proven experience with expansion joints, hospital solutions, or building‑materials products.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self‑organized, proactive, able to manage multiple customers and projects independently while being a team player.
• Valid driving licence.
