Sales Manager (Corporate)

About the role

The Corporate Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for the hotel by managing an assigned account base, prospecting new clients, and ensuring the hotel meets its financial objectives. This role reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and requires a strong focus on achieving revenue targets across designated markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts within an assigned geographic area, maximizing revenue and market share.
• Prospect and acquire new corporate accounts, especially in European markets.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on tentative bookings.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring optimal yields during rate negotiations.
• Attend trade shows, sales blitzes, and workshops to promote the hotel.
• Assist the Director of Sales in creating and executing the annual sales action plan and budget forecasts.
• Execute sales actions within the approved cost budget and document all activities in the SFA system.
• Maintain and update the OPERA contact database and cross‑sell other Kempinski properties.
• Participate in the Duty Manager rota and adhere to all hotel policies, health, safety, and fire regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate sales within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of hotel services, competitor set, and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and attend industry events.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SFA (Sales Force Automation) systems.
• Experience using the OPERA contact database.
