Sales Manager - Leisure

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager - Leisure in 6th of October City, Egypt. The role leads strategic sales initiatives that grow leisure revenue and market presence, working with cross-functional teams and building relationships with key leisure travel partners locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet leisure revenue targets, room night goals and profitability
• Build and expand relationships with DMCs, travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers and luxury travel advisors
• Identify new leisure business opportunities and strengthen partnerships through sales calls, client presentations, business entertainment and site inspections
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, roadshows and networking events
• Negotiate contracts, rates and business agreements to maximise profitability
• Work with Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing and Operations teams
• Monitor market trends and competitors, and prepare sales reports, revenue forecasts and business plans
• Lead and mentor sales team members

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hotel or hospitality sales experience, preferably in luxury hospitality
• Strong expertise in the leisure travel segment and knowledge of luxury travel distribution channels
• Track record of meeting sales targets and growing market share
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
• Knowledge of regional and international leisure markets, with familiarity with the Egypt market preferred
• Experience leading and motivating a sales team

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to analyse market data and build data-driven strategies
• Prior experience with Opera or a related system is preferred
