SAP BW Analytics Specialist

About the role

SAP BW Analytics role is a full‑time position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BW data models and analytics solutions. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include working with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements, translating business processes into data structures, and building dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
• Translate business processes into SAP BW data structures and models.
• Build dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights.
• Manage master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Optimize ETL processes for efficient data loading.
• Work with functional teams such as SAP FICO and other consultants on end‑to‑end analytics initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and document solutions.
• Adhere to best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of the analytics landscape.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including data analysis, problem‑solving, and interpretation of complex datasets.
• Consulting experience with direct stakeholder interaction and recommendation delivery.
• Experience with SAP FICO and integration with SAP BW and analytics tools.
• Knowledge of master data management, data governance, and data quality in SAP environments.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BW, data modeling, ETL processes, and BI/analytics tools such as SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
