Security Officer – Airport Loss Prevention

About the role

The Security Officer will safeguard the Cairo International Airport premises, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and assets. This full‑time position involves proactive patrols, monitoring of security systems, and rapid response to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the airport property and control access to rooms and restricted zones.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress, and fire‑life‑safety systems continuously.
• Respond to accidents, medical emergencies, and security incidents, providing first aid/CPR when needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and coordinate with external assistance.
• Complete detailed incident, shift‑summary, and loss‑prevention reports while maintaining confidentiality.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections, lock entrances as required, and investigate incidents to gather evidence.
• Assist guests, including those with disabilities, and uphold company service standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 50 lb unaided.
• Strong observational skills and the capacity to react quickly in emergency situations.
• Professional appearance, adherence to uniform standards, and respect for confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
