Senior Accountant – Executive Level

About the role

Raya Smart Buildings is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead and oversee all accounting activities for its operations in Egypt. You will ensure accurate financial records, compliance with local standards, and support the company’s growth in the smart building sector.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processes.
• Oversee revenue accounting for pay‑per‑use, subscription and roaming agreements, reviewing contracts for correct treatment.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare audit documentation and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and supervise payments and collections.
• Process vendor invoices and operational costs while upholding internal controls.
• Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations and monthly AR/AP balance reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate costing, asset tagging, and related reporting.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
