Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead our month‑end closing, financial reporting and accounting operations. The role will collaborate with the Shared Service Center and operational teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with accounting policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead month‑end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
• Review general ledger postings for accuracy, proper classification, and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with the Shared Service Center on accounts payable, accounts receivable, record‑to‑report, and master data activities.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash‑related accounting processes.
• Review supplier and customer reconciliations, aging reports, and payment proposals.
• Support inventory, costing, and COGS analysis in partnership with operations.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and investigate variances.
• Assist internal and external audits and address audit findings.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and process improvements.
• Guide and support junior accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of accounting and finance experience, including 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or the plastic industry is highly preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, or IFRS certification is preferred.
• Strong reporting, analytical, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business One or a similar ERP system.
