Senior Accountant

About the role

Citadel Developments is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Sheikh Zayed. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the company’s real‑estate development activities by delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Prepare and present financial statements and management reports in line with Egyptian accounting standards.
• Develop, monitor, and update annual budgets and forecasts for real‑estate projects.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to provide financial insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably within real‑estate development or a similar industry.
• CPA designation is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience using financial systems for reporting and budgeting.
