Senior Android Developer (Egypt)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join Nabd’s mobile team in Egypt. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining high‑quality Android applications that power the #1 Arabic content platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers and other engineers to define, design and ship new features.
• Integrate external data sources and APIs, handling JSON, XML and remote services.
• Write unit tests and perform bug fixing to ensure robustness and performance.
• Maintain code quality, organization and automation, and continuously evaluate new technologies.
• Communicate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements and achieve milestones.
• Participate in meetings, share ideas for process improvements and contribute to internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience developing Android applications.
• Proven track record of at least one app published on Google Play.
• Experience with Android services such as local and remote notifications.
• Familiarity with web‑application architectures and data integration.
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
