Senior Architect Design Engineer

About the role

SIA is seeking a Senior Architect Design Engineer to lead architectural design projects from concept through detailed design and execution. Based on-site in New Cairo, you will shape innovative, sustainable solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex architectural design projects from inception to delivery.
• Develop innovative design concepts, prepare and review drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, local building codes, and sustainability goals.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and interior consultants to integrate multidisciplinary inputs.
• Support project management activities including scheduling, resource planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct design reviews, and resolve technical integration issues.
• Oversee quality and consistency of design output, conduct regular site visits, and present solutions to clients.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in architecture with proven experience leading complex design projects.
• Experience with BIM, parametric design, or automation scripts to streamline documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate structural, MEP, landscape, and interior disciplines.
• Solid project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or related field; professional licensure is a plus.
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects and a deep understanding of sustainable design principles and local regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
