Senior Automotive Software Engineer (AUTOSAR)

About the role

Avelabs (an Arrow Company), a leading automotive software engineering services provider, is looking for a Senior Automotive Software Engineer with expertise in AUTOSAR integration to join its engineering team in Maadi Technology Park, Cairo. The role involves embedded software design, customer-facing technical support and coaching of team members.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design embedded software for the automotive industry
• Support and develop the complete software architecture
• Integrate AUTOSAR platforms with end customers' applications and configure embedded basic software components
• Develop application software components
• Communicate technically with customers and provide consultancy and support
• Coach team members and prepare training where needed
• Improve engineering processes for efficiency and quality, maintain project quality standards and propose innovative solutions

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded systems
• University degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering
• Experience designing embedded software architecture
• Excellent written and spoken English

Required skills

• AUTOSAR configuration and integration
• Embedded C programming
• Deep knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN and FlexRay
• Multicore solutions on embedded platforms is a plus
