Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will protect the organization’s information, systems and digital infrastructure. This role embeds security into system and network designs, ensures compliance with international standards, and drives business continuity through disaster recovery planning.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and enforce security policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Lead security assessments, risk analyses and regular audits, delivering clear reports to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and business teams to implement security controls and manage change requests.
• Oversee incident response processes, ensuring timely escalation, containment and remediation of security events.
• Develop, test and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Continuously monitor emerging threats, recommend improvements and evaluate security technologies.
• Produce cybersecurity dashboards, audit trails and documentation that meet organizational standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, policy management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving a security‑first culture.
• Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
