Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Geidea is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and operation of highly available, secure, and scalable cloud and on‑premises infrastructure. You will drive the full software delivery lifecycle, ensuring reliability and performance across development, testing, and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture, governance, and operational excellence of enterprise Kubernetes platforms across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Nutanix).
• Design, secure, and continuously improve enterprise‑grade CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automation, quality gates, and security scanning.
• Lead containerization initiatives using Docker and Helm, establishing a standardized and scalable container ecosystem.
• Monitor application performance with Elastic and New Relic, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible for both cloud (AWS) and on‑prem (Nutanix) environments.
• Deploy and maintain API gateways such as Kong to ensure secure and efficient API traffic management.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with development, QA, and security teams to embed DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior DevOps or Site Reliability roles, preferably in fast‑moving technology companies.
• Strong understanding of cloud (AWS) and on‑premises (Nutanix) infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex Kubernetes deployments and CI/CD initiatives.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a focus on automation and operational excellence.
