Senior Electrical Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Electrical Site Engineer to lead on‑site electrical installations, testing and commissioning for large‑scale construction projects in Alexandria.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on‑site electrical installations, testing and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, international standards and local regulations.
• Oversee implementation of electrical designs, coordinating with civil, mechanical and architectural teams for integrated delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, identify issues and implement proactive solutions to maintain timelines and quality.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and site technicians, fostering a collaborative high‑performing team.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety and environmental policies across all electrical works.
• Prepare detailed reports on progress, resource allocation and quality control for stakeholders.
• Utilize AutoCAD for reviewing drawings and resolving site‑specific design challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10‑11 years of progressive, hands‑on experience in electrical engineering within construction, civil or architectural sectors.
• Proven experience in project management, site supervision and construction management of complex electrical installations.
• Strong background in quality control and health & safety standards on construction sites.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
