Senior Engineer – Glass Production Job Change

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Glass Production Job Change is responsible for planning, executing and optimizing mold changes on glass production lines to minimise downtime and maintain product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate job change activities with production, maintenance and quality teams.
• Analyse line performance data and implement procedural improvements.
• Oversee job change schedules, document best practices and provide technical guidance to technicians and junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot process issues and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably glass production or container forming.
• Strong understanding of forming machinery, mold‑change procedures and production planning.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and using ERP/MES systems.
• Solid knowledge of safety standards and manufacturing compliance.
