Senior HVAC Design Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking a Senior HVAC Design Engineer to lead and develop HVAC designs for various building projects, from concept through detailed design and tender documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HVAC design development, perform load calculations, equipment selection and system sizing.
• Create design concepts, layouts, schematics and detailed technical documentation.
• Prepare and review HVAC drawings, specifications, equipment schedules and calculations.
• Develop and coordinate BIM models in Revit MEP to LOD 350, ensuring accurate coordination with other disciplines.
• Participate in clash detection, resolve coordination issues and produce fully coordinated BIM deliverables.
• Prepare and review BOQs, technical specifications, equipment schedules and vendor lists.
• Review equipment selections, submittals and material submissions for compliance.
• Provide technical input during tendering and support client, consultant and contractor meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of HVAC design experience, preferably in a multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Experience with residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASHRAE and NFPA.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

• HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.

• Knowledge of HVAC equipment manufacturers and solutions.
