Senior Information Technology Specialist

About the role

GoChat247 is seeking a Senior Information Technology Specialist to join its on‑site team in Al Qalyubiyah, Egypt. The role focuses on managing the company’s network infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity for both internal users and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, providing root‑cause analysis and timely remediation.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.
• Implement and enforce network security measures, including access control, encryption, and security monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades, installations, and hardware/software configurations.
• Document IT procedures and provide technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in information technology with hands‑on experience in systems administration and IT operations.
• Proven experience in network administration, troubleshooting, and implementing security best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and deliver high‑quality customer service.
