Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at Egyptian Starch and Glucose Company. The role focuses on hands‑on maintenance of industrial equipment and driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities on pumps, compressors, gear systems and hydraulic components.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, prepare detailed failure analysis reports and propose preventive solutions.
• Monitor equipment performance using predictive maintenance tools and track MTTR and MTBF indicators.
• Test equipment after maintenance to verify proper functionality and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience maintaining industrial mechanical equipment.
• Strong focus on improving operational efficiency and reliability.
• Ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and develop preventive maintenance strategies.
