Procurement Manager – International & Local Purchasing

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead both international and local purchasing activities, ensuring uninterrupted supply of raw materials while optimizing costs. The role will oversee the full procurement cycle, manage supplier relationships, and develop the purchasing team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual procurement strategy and plan.
• Lead international procurement of PE/PP resins, CaCO₃, chemical additives, and packaging materials.
• Manage local purchasing for maintenance, HSE, factory, and office requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor commodity prices and identify optimal purchasing opportunities.
• Manage supplier qualification, performance evaluation, and corrective actions.
• Ensure uninterrupted raw material supply while optimizing inventory and procurement costs.
• Manage the end-to-end PR-to-PO process through the ERP system.
• Prepare and monitor procurement budgets and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Lead and develop the Purchasing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience in raw material procurement within plastics, polymer, masterbatch, or petrochemical industries.
• At least 2 years in a managerial or senior procurement position with team leadership experience.
• Strong experience with international suppliers and import purchasing.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
