About the role
The Senior MEP Quantity Surveying Engineer handles advanced commercial management responsibilities for construction projects, focusing on quantity surveying tasks such as take‑offs, interim payments, and variation assessments. The role ensures contractual compliance and supports the project‑based quantity surveying team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take‑offs in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier invoices.
- Prepare interim payment and commercial documentation.
- Assess variations and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Guide and mentor quantity surveying engineers.
- Collaborate with planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency.
- Maintain well‑documented records for contractual purposes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of solid experience in construction quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration (FIDIC and local standards).
- Proficiency in English.
